Mr. Prime Minister - It's high time we practice what we 'preached', in the past.....
While we hail most of your initiatives, and your leadership, in taking &
trying to take India forward to the next levels, it looks like you are failing India
and Indians by being exactly like Congress/UPA (surprisingly, tragically &
sadly so) in NOT taking any meaningful, concrete & immediate action against
the continuous barbaric acts of Pakistan with our brave Soldiers.
This time, since Oct 2016, it is third such incident of mutilation of
Indian brave soldiers (Naib Subedar Paramjit Singh & BSF head-constable
Prem Sagar).
During Congress/UPA’s time (i think early in the year 2013) when similar barbaric
incident of mutilation of Indian Soldier happened (of course, by Pakistan
only), BJP was the first and the most vocal critical voices within opposition asking for
“10 heads against the one” (of martyred
Indian Soldier) taken away by Pakistan. It was BJP only (Sushma Swaraj &
Rajnath Singh, then) who said “Will we sit without any reaction and engage in a
dialogue [with Pakistan]? This should not happen and not be tolerated at any
cost. At least the government should take some tough measures and react in some
concrete way, rather than proving itself a weak government”.
Were the statement’s simply made for politicising the issue? If NOT, then where is the action NOW when you are the ruling dispensation of the day??? Can
this be cited as the best and the most appropriate example of difference in ‘kathni’ & ‘karni’!!!
Are you really the ‘party with a difference’ when it comes to dealing
with such inhuman tactics of Pakistan? Doesn’t look like so far. Simply by taking
the shield of one ‘surgical strike’, we can’t remain mute spectator to such repeated
barbarism of Pakistan for the balance of 5 years of ruling, and let our brave
soldiers meet this kind of fate. The question is ‘can we?’ and ‘should we?’.
Wake-up, and please don’t let this to be the point of inflexion for we don't want to go back to the Congress rule? And, don’t let nation ‘yearn for a change’ again,
as it did, to get the rid of mis-rule of Congress/UPA.
